For the next generation.
One Generation engages Indigenous communities to create transformative social change through Indigenous-led programs and partnerships that solve problems, advance equity, and uplift Indigenous peoples across New Mexico and throughout the U.S. Our work focuses on education, health, environment, food systems, and Indigenous wellbeing.
We use solution-oriented, community-led strategies to ensure that our projects deepen the understanding of how language, culture and holistic wellness are embodied and intertwined.
We fund, support, and implement projects and programs that use Indigenous knowledge, language and culture as models to build and strengthen our communities.
Each of our funded projects both satisfies the mission of One Generation and our fiscal sponsor, the Tides Center. Our innovations build Indigenous leadership, increase overall community engagement and work to advance Indigenous sovereignty and well-being locally, regionally, and nationally.
